Return Policy

Our Studios work tirelessly to ensure that your Verlas jewelry is nothing short of perfection. If you’re not happy with your jewelry, bring it to our attention within 48 hours of receiving the package. If you changed your mind about your purchase, it’s no problem! Either way, drop us a line at care@verlas.com as you may be eligible to return or exchange your jewelry. 

Note: All returned purchases must be in original condition (unworn, tagged, and unaltered with no missing parts) and accompanied by the original packaging, certificates, warranty documents and instructions. Refunds are subject to standard inspection.*

Similarly, if the value of merchandise you choose to keep is above $800 but below $1,000, 20% off on the order will still apply but the Gift Card will cancel.

Shipping & Delivery Timelines: As we do with all jewelry, we require the following number of days to completely craft your jewelry from scratch. 

  • 8-10 business days for diamond jewelry
  • 10-12 business days for gemstone jewelry

30-Day Returns/Exchanges

If you return your purchase at Verlas.com within thirty (30) days after you receive your jewelry:
  • You will receive a refund for the full purchase price of the product. 
  • We will credit your original payment method, excluding delivery charges, within three weeks of receiving your return.
  • There will be no charge for return shipping on jewelry valued at $750 & above, across the US (except Puerto Rico). 
  • Return shipping for jewelry below $750 will be subject to a $30 charge
  • For any items purchased through a promotion, Gift Cards or Verlas Credit, shipping charges are applicable. 

60-Day Returns/Exchanges

If you return or exchange your purchase at Verlas.com after the first thirty (30) days but within sixty (60) days after you receive your jewelry:

  • You will receive a Verlas Credit for the full purchase price of the product. 
  • You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. This cost will vary depending on the value of the jewelry being returned or exchanged

Verlas does not accept any requests for returns or exchanges after 60 days upon receipt of jewelry (unless your jewelry is already covered under Verlas Care). 

Engraved Jewelry Returns

We accept returns for engraved jewelry. If you return or exchange your engraved jewelry purchased at Verlas.com within 30 days or 60 days after you receive your purchase:
  • You will receive a Verlas Credit for the full purchase price of the product, subject to successful inspection. 
  • We will provide your Verlas Credit, excluding delivery charges, within three weeks of receiving your return.
  • You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. This cost will vary depending on the value of the jewelry being returned or exchanged. 

If the purchased Verlas jewelry is under warranty, you may be eligible for a Buy-Back or Upgrade. All warranty purchases are final sale, non-transferrable to other products, and non-refundable. All Verlas Credits must be used within one (1) year of receipt.

Special/Bespoke Orders

Special Orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. For additional details on such orders covered by Verlas Care, contact care@verlas.com

Returns on Items purchased from the Ready-to-Ship catalog or through a Promotion

If you return or exchange items that were purchased through from the Ready-to-Ship catalog or a promotion, return shipping charges will apply. A $30 return shipping charge applies to every product below $750, and a $45 return shipping charge applies to every product $750 & above that is being returned. Refunds to original mode of payment or Verlas Credit are applicable under the terms of 30-Day and 60-Day Returns. If looking for an exchange, return shipping will be additional and shipping the new item/s to you will be free. 

Returns on Items Purchased through Gift Cards or Verlas Credit:

If you return or exchange your purchase at Verlas.com for items that were purchased using a Gift Card or Verlas Credit, return shipping charges will apply under the terms of 30-Day and 60-Day Returns. If looking for an exchange, shipping the new item/s to you will be free. Refunds will be processed in Verlas Credit with the original validity of the Gift Card/Verlas Credit.

Ring Resizing

We will gladly accept resizing requests within 60 days from delivering your jewelry. Verlas covers one round of complimentary resizing. 2-way shipping charges will be additional.

Additional requests will be accepted after one round of complimentary resizing. (Resizing and shipping charges will apply). For jewelry not covered by Verlas Care, repair charges will be additional. Reach out to care@verlas.com for more information. 

Verlas Care

Warranties are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-transferrable. 

*Jewelry Inspection 

When you return items for refunds or exchanges, we require 3-5 business days to process your jewelry for a standard inspection. You will be charged an additional $15 for missing certificates, or you can ship back the certificate using your preferred shipping carrier. You will be responsible for the cost of the return. Upon successful inspection, refunds or Verlas Credit will apply under the terms of the 30-Day, 60-Day, Engraved Jewelry, Promotional Offers Policy or those communicated to you via care@verlas.com. 

International Orders (outside of the U.S.)

We ship to Canada in accordance with shipping policies for the U.S. however, all International orders including Canada are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Returns for Repairs:

Upon successful inspection, your jewelry requires approximately 3 weeks for delivery. Additional scheduling information as seen below should be helpful in preparing you to receive your jewelry back within the expected timeline. Note: The Studio is unable to expedite repairs.
  1. We ship repaired items only on Fridays.
  2. Upon receiving your returned jewelry, we require 2-3 business days to inspect it. Upon successful inspection, we require approximately 10-12 business days to repair, resize or engrave a ring, replace chains when received tangled or broken, etc. This means that if your jewelry is expected to be repaired on Monday or Thursday, it will ship on the Friday of that week.
  3. If the Studio identifies any additional repairs that may be required but not reported by you, we will communicate such details and any additional charges to you. We will proceed upon your approval.
  4. If we require additional time, we will let you know once the return for repair has been fully approved.
  5. We will be in touch with you with tracking details as soon as it becomes available.

Preparing Your Return

To return a shipped item to Verlas.com, please follow these steps:

  1. Include all original contents of your package, including certificates, when shipping back your order.
  1. For returns within thirty (30) days or sixty (60) days, ship your package prepaid and insured for the full purchase price of the product. Shipping charges will apply under the terms of the 30-Day, 60-Day, Engraved Jewelry, Promotional Offers Policy or those communicated to you via care@verlas.com. 
  1. You may choose to move forward with our shipping partner for insured shipping or arrange returns with a common carrier (for example with the post office, UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.). Should you choose your own shipping carrier, you will be responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of your returned jewelry. 
  1. All returns will be inspected by our quality assurance team before we can process a refund. Upon receipt, Verlas.com inspects every product to ensure it is unworn, tagged, unmodified from its original form and no piece is broken/missing/damaged.

Verlas.com isn't responsible for merchandise that's not received or not returned in accordance with these terms.
